Can i20 headlight adjust be fixed?

Hyundai i20 2009 1.4

o/s vertical adjuster is high and when I try to pull it down, it get so far then I hear the adjuster peg slip and it jumps back up again.

Doubtful they can be fixed I suppose?

I very much doubt it - I'd guess the plastic gears have sheared due to the lamp adjustment spindle being seized due to corrosion.
A call to a breakers, maybe?

I thought as much John but it costs nowt to ask!

If its no go at the local breakers, there's some 2nd units on ebay that are listed as fully working.

Found one on ebay which, when it arrived, had a broken plastic bracket so back it went.
Got another one of ebay and it had the same adjuster fault as the old one so away back it went too.

Have managed to source what is claimed to be a new one on ebay which is about the third the price of ECP's offering and hopefully will be perfect.
