Capita Gas Safe - April fool?

This is Joe Public. I need a competent/reliable and qualified gas installer to remove our old boiler and fit a new one together with various associated works.
I used the Trustcorgi website to begin with and then was told about Gassaferegister replacing it (DIY page on a car forum). I used gassafe last night to see who was local (Safari on a Macbook). Same problem as all above posts. Post code and 5 miles seemed OK but a somewhat different list to the corgi one (confusing). Further afield was silly as it brought up areas 100s of miles away. If it is meant to help the consumer then it is rather poor at the moment.

I tried it again and got all the RGI's in Dyfed  perhaps Crapita have something to do with the toll booths on the severn crossing.

As it happens, my gas bill has just arrived this morning.

Included, is a leaflet about gas safety which stresses how very important it is to get a CORGI-registered engineer! No one else may work on gas!

No mention of gas safe whatsoever.
