I have just found out why they call it Castlemaine XXXX.
They were refused an export licence for it when they applied with the original name of Castlemaine P*SS

Pretty sure xxxx is brewed in the UK, for a really good aussie brew try Coopers Sparkling Ale from Adelaide 5.8% bottle conditioned

its brewed under licence in the uk but it still teasts like carp when you drink it in oz
