If we let in everyone willy nilly from unstable country's with no regard to numbers then we become an unstable country and then we are of no help to anyone.

I don't think anybody is, or ever has, argued with that.If we let in everyone willy nilly from unstable country's with no regard to numbers then we become an unstable country and then we are of no help to anyone.
the "safe country" argument is utter hogwash
there are lots of displaced people in the world, the vast majority do stay in neighbouring countries
some however disperse further afield -thats human nature

or through elsewhere to get thereHow many travel onto Hungary or Poland or Latvia or Romania

False argument.
I have no issue with a legally binding system. But needs to be internationally legal

Think about it, of course we need to abide by international law. Once you abandon law.....Nah it doesnt....
or through elsewhere to get there
Bod I notice you pick 2 countries known to have demonised refugees -Is that an indication that is what you wish for UKHow many travel onto Hungary or Poland or Latvia or Romania
boring predictable false argument trotted out by the rightIf they want to come here, then do so correctly...
Not if you're the first from a family and are awaiting the outcome of your application. Family members x,y,z might still head to the UK because one of their own managed to get here, albeit maybe approval pending.the difference being the ones being there already were judged, accepted and allowed. Not illegally camping.

my point was, that the 1st has applied to settle and had been accepted. Not if you're the first from a family and are awaiting the outcome of your application. Family members x,y,z might still head to the UK because one of their own managed to get here, albeit maybe approval pending.
It's so difficult for anyone (including politicians) to have a balanced debate on this because most people that refer to trying to reduce numbers are immediately labeled racist.
We have a govt and its client media that spend its time blaming foreigners for all the problems in this countryIt's so difficult for anyone (including politicians) to have a balanced debate on this because most people that refer to trying to reduce numbers are immediately labeled racist.
Because there are humungous backlogs.my point was, that the 1st has applied to settle and had been accepted.
those that follow should be accepted 1st, but living with other family is a good reason to be there.
if the 1st person has not applied or been approved, why haven't they been legally removed ?
Bod I notice you pick 2 countries known to have demonised refugees -Is that an indication that is what you wish for UK
by the way, the only large number of people fleeing from a country in that region is Ukrainians, of which Poland has 2 million -proving my point
