The way it stands now, a couple can earn £49K each and still get the full amount. You can't have that sort of injustice in society.

The Poles love it - they send it home for kids they haven't even got. Wait until the Bulgarians and Roma hear about that one.

the Roma already know about it,some of the biggest child benefit frauds have been carried out by roma.

As long as we pay Child benefits- the 'new would be Brits' will continue knocking out the little buggers every 9 months .

Be much easier to put a few extra points on a parents tax code and sack the lot of useless overpaid shiny $r sed civil sevants who organise the whole fiasco and act like little hittlers.
Would save millions .

its a universal benefit its not means tested every child get it until they leave full time education or 20 years old maximum
its somthing like £20 for the first and £13 for every child after that
