It seems not, the amount of ice at the South Pole it seems is increasing at an alarming rate

I’m not sure the data shows this is a directional trend, as far as I can see, the overall trend is one of substantial ice loss on the continent, but from 2021 to 2023, Antarctica some of that lost ice back.
