Hi all
I am wanting to convert our downstairs bathroom (previous owners had council conversion due to immobility) back to a utility room. It has a kind of wet room floor and a large double shower tray that was in a walk in shower. The shower has been removed and for a quick fix we had our washing machine moved in and plumbed in over the existing shower tray. It still has the plug and waste etc underneath it! There is a toilet next to the shower and a sink which ideally I would like to keep, potentially moving the toilet to the left 1.5 metres or so. How easy will this be? How on earth do I get rid of the shower waste pipe?! Newbie to all this though I do have some diy skills! Thanks for advice!

OP,
Why not ask the mods to move your post to the Plumbing or Building forums?
A couple of pics of your set-up inside & outside the bathroom would help - and info such as
ref solid or suspended floor, & what tiling exists or is proposed?

Depends on setup, if the pipework is disappearing into a concrete floor then that is a lot more work to alter than if it's above ground. Need a lot more information please before we can even begin to advise.

Thank you. I moved the washing machine out to investigate underneath today! Excuse the filth (I have cleaned this now!)

The set-up i referred to was the whole bathroom set-up - maybe you could post pics of the bathroom fixture positions - & a pic showing the WC soil pipe connection?
A pic of the outside might show where the soil & wastes are draining to?
