Or . ... a detachable windscreen that you could keep indoors overnight

the clear film could be applied when the weather starts to turn cold and left fitted..
the blanket could be thrown over when you go out first thing an left on while you go inside for breakfast or a cup of coffee..

the other option ( and one I saw a bloke do once ) is a gas blowtorch with a wide flame nozel...

ha ha... typical DIYnot responses ranging from the sublime to the ridiculous.... but thanks allthesame

it's an audi a6.... ....
Soaking wet Pollen Filter  Happened to 2 vauxhalls I owned . Cured by chucking it over nearest hedge

or a stick on heated window? ( another great idea for dragons den.. a clear film with a heated window wire in it that you stick to the windscreen.. either hardwired or on a cigarette plug.. )

My old Fiesta had one of these built in :D

My C4 doesn't though :(

My dad's new Fiesta does though! :D

try opening the windows

noseall has already suggested that
and how does that prevent moisture from forming on the inside of my windscreen?

should i leave the window open al night?

equalises the temperature and circulates the air.

but if you leave it open all night, it will proabably get nicked.

one old remedy was to smear over a layer of lard on the windows then wipe it off. my grandfather used to swear by it
