Does extension within 3 meter require Building Regulations' approval?

Pretty sure once a radiator has been added it's no longer a porch.
Someone who knows more can comment.

a thermostatic valve allowing independent heat control is acceptable to B/C

however there has to be external quality doors between “porch” and house - ie double glazed to part L.

But also a porch is at the front of the house not the rear? If anything that would be closer to being classed as a conservatory than a porch..
Not sure where you got that from? A porch refers to any building against an original doorway, subject to my list above. Doesn't matter where the door is; front, back or side.

Conservatories still cause a lot of confusion. Back in olden days conservatories had a section of their own, with various exemptions based on glazed areas and heating controls etc. But none of that applies any more (since about 2010) and a conservatory is now the same as a porch.
