Doors and windows in before roof on?

Quick question and maybe a silly one but single storey rear extension
Timber work complete for roof to go on so just currently have a large tarpaulin and 3 battens on to keep rain out . 2 weeks until roofer coming to roof it, I have my French doors and window ready to go in, would you fit them now or after the roof is done? Or does it really matter?

Bet you wouldn't be asking this question if you had a big hole in one of the sills from a fallen tile or if the glass has become cloudy due to grinder dust scratches.

That said, we have re-roofed homes with the windows in place - obviously. But we do however have to take precautions with boards etc protecting the doors and windows.

Thanks noseall, enough said, I will leave them until the roof goes on I think as not wort the risk.
