speaking to a woman yesterday who had 30 points on licence and was up in court for a further 18 speeding offences. she paid £2000 to the solicitor who got Beckham off the hook. Result?? All points removed, 18 charges dropped, apology from the police for harassment, all costs awarded.
That's what a lawyer can do.

I also post on A Speeding and Parking tickets forum, a lot of tickets can be successfully challenged if you are prepared to do the work. The Police rely on people just stumping up and taking the points. If EVERY speeding and parking ticket was challenged, the system would collapse under the weight of the number of cases.
