BOILER STARTED MAKING LOUD NOISES AS IF CAUSED BY A VALE OPENING AND CLOSING. STILL WORKING BUT NOISE GETTING WORSE.

HELP PLEASE.

HAS NOW STOPPED WORKING WITH ERROR CODE FL.

get the thing serviced bet the condensate trap is blocked and thats why you have LF

That noise which is being described sounds like a PRV chattering when the filling loop has been left open.

I would next ask if this is an Owner or a Tenant?

Hi

I have the same problem with my boiler at the moment. I had it serviced and a new fan fitted yesterday but it intermittently keeps displaying LF still.

Any ideas?

Did they remove the condensate trap and sump to clean it out during the service?

Also check any condensate pipe outlet has not frozen in this cold snap.
