I don't buy that, I think the eu is trying to create division and we the uk are trying to achieve the opposite, that's my take on the situation.
As for 'enjoying' the protection of eu borders, hmmmm?, there are a few countries on the other side of Europe who felt the need to take matters into their own hands with regard to border protection.
