This is not good. All this push fitting has created another class of plumber.I think I win, with the mess my cowboy builders made in 2013 - I think this is what made me take a keener interest in building work!

Don't panic, it was all replaced by a plumber - he came to my rescue after seeing the photos!
Glad to see a good fella has sorted you out.
In a way it helped me out - I now have a plumber that is happy to help. He works full time, but fits me in in evenings. I even fitted the radiator for the last job, so he just needed to do the pipes.
He's no longer gas safe registered though (used to be), so only good for rads and bathrooms.

Solder is supposed to go inside the fittings.
