Hi the tails fitted to the pipe have split, I cut the water supply at the isolation valve and took the tap off, but looking at the picture below how do you disconnect the pipes going into the tap? There doesn't seem to be any space at all! Does it come apart further or do I need some sort of special tool?

No one else has replied, but that sure looks like a crimped in fitting......usually the tap tails just screw in courtesy of a small hexagon and 'o' ring - but not in this case.
I'd go for a new tap, I think.
John :)

Never come across that arrangement on a monobloc tap. There looks to be no way to replace the tails.

I'm with Burnerman - new tap.
