Drug driving 'shockingly prevalent' as some police forces claim ...

Drug-driving incidents in the UK are rising faster than drink-driving, with some police forces reporting more drug-related arrests during crackdowns. While drink-driving fatalities dropped by 14% between 2022 and 2023, drug-driving deaths rose by 38%. Drug-related driving incidents saw a 260% increase since 2012, indicating a significant, fast-growing road safety issue.
