Holy Smoke

That doesn't support your belief that legalisation of lager and cannabis is impossible.

Sorry, my mistake.

You think lager is possible and cannabis is not.

No logical structure to your belief,
We are not talking about just cannabis though are we?

Yes. We are.
Check the OP.
Hang on, I am talking about recreational drug use here, if this is purely on cannabis then that is a different conversation, JohnD has mentioned LSD and I was arguing against recreational drugs being legalised, like speed, LSD, crack etc.

The OP began with a story about a bunch of nuns in Mexico starting an independent business to bring cannabis out of cartel monopoly. I think it's a good way to break the stigma of this noble plant by decriminalising it to the point of making it acceptable for citizens to buy what they need without resorting to gangs. Medical marijuana can do this. It would be a prescriptive drug in this case, not an illegal narcotic.

Narcotics like LSD, amphetamines, cocaine and heroin are a different kettle of fish with a Class A rating for good reason, and in no way am i advocating for their legalisation.

They are not nuns though, they are a group of women with no catholic beliefs, calling themselves "sisters of the valley" spreading the word about the healing capabilitys of cannabis.

Nobody is obliged to be a Catholic before they can comment on illogical government policy.

Good to see you are moving your goalposts.

No but you cannot say that you are a nun when you are clearly not.
I have not described myself as a nun.

In the OP, I can't see that the campaigners did either.

It would be irrelevant to the argument,

But some people make claims that should not be taken seriously, for example that they are charismatic and impeccably groomed.

I never said that you said that you were a nun, but Odds said this. "The OP began with a story about a bunch of nuns in Mexico starting an independent business to bring cannabis out of cartel monopoly"
Sounds to me he wanted everyone to think a bunch of nuns are advocating cannabis. There is nothing wrong with saying the truth and why it wouldnt be taken seriously if someone is charismatic and impeccably groomed. Try to stick to facts when speaking with me John as that is all I deal in.
