How do ebay payments work?

Haven’t sold anything in there for ages but sold something yesterday, my ebay account is saying that it’s been paid but I can’t see anything in my PayPal account. Do they hold onto the money until the goods are sent/delivered? How do I get paid?

Ignore that. I think I've sussed it - you get paid out at the end of the day. I think!

It can take several days but they sanction you if you don’t deliver in time
