Does anyone make fairy cakes anymore? I used to love them with the little sponge wings on them. You just dont see them anymore. Such a shame as I think McDonalds have replaced them with big macs etc.

We call them butterfly buns. The youngsters in our family often make them.

I love a stew made with shin.

It was shin beef. I cooked it low and slow and it fell apart.

Served on plain rice “I know” it was just what we needed after a 6 mile walk
