It said on the side of another bus that Persil washes whiter.
I washed my black socks in Persil several times and they are still black!

I guess there is a moral to this story.......I cannot quite think what it is yet.

(Cue a**e end to take advantage  )

What do u mean way r bee by take advantage ?

Think u will find that the persil advert is referring to washing "whites" not black socks. I assume you hand washed the socks ?? :sneaky:

it's great to see that Brexit Britain continues to obey EU rules.

As expected, of course.

If you want to play on the golf course, you have to obey club rules even after you've resigned your membership.

As expected, of course.

Other than an excuse for you to re-hash the same old dross, I don't see what this is adding.

Somebody better tell Trump

He thinks protectionism will 'make America great again'

Your behind the times.

His new slogan is

Keep America Great!

That obviously begs the question, is this it, he has done all he can and returned the US to its former glory.

Im surprised we didnt get the red bus pic too :)

Hahaha

You can't win with the DM dumbos first hating on De La Rue now in support of them.

As long as people love their hatred more than they want to improve their own lives the DM will have its audience.

Im finding it hard to understand how the De La Rue tender price was so different. Perhaps their CEO on £800k should be wondering whether he is worth that.

The problem with tenders is that they needed to be correctly structured to actually yield the lowest cost. Lets hope the price doesnt ramp up later on.

As the new contract for printing passports is for 10 years, who knows how the cost will escalate, especially if the pound loses anymore of its value against the euro.

Then there is the materials in the supply chain to consider.

The savings are being exaggerated, first it was £50M, then it was £100M, now it is £120M. That is over 20% of a £490M contract.

Of course, any delays at border crossings could delay the issue of new passports.
But it is good that the government have taken back control.

Have not looked at the bid documents but DeLaRue are being disingenuous saying this should be ringfenced for a UK company when they themselves provide products to about 40 countries.

Gemalto is in the process of being acquired by French defence contractor Thales.

Lol

Also EU laws do not stipulate a colour for the passport so the UK could have made the change while remaining in the bloc.

Hahaha
