Is immigration good or bad ?

So Private water companies are not planning for the future? If there is increased demand and bills are going up where is the money going?
I would imagine it would go to foreign share holders, any profits made usually do.

What business is it of yours where their money is going?

The idea behind business is normally to profit, not break even. Until they're satisfied the shareholder have their returns they won't willingly spend.

You need to learn a bit about regulated industries and monopolies as well the ownership structure.

The problem isn't down to the water companies. Read the article; it's a weather issue, and it's just not raining enough. Now if they could pump water from Scotland and wales, then yup, definite water company issue, but it's not feasible, and they can't build enough reservoirs to store the water in. The list of countries using desalination plants is increasing all the time

It's reckoned that won't be long before there is a war over water rights, Egypt and Ethiopia being most likely the first to start.

So first you put the issue down to immigration - "won't handle the increased numbers" and now it's a weather issue? So which one is it?

If it's a war you think the foreign states owning our water companies will be an issue?

You are joking aren't you when you say it isn't raining enough in the UK.

Jeez us, try reading the article please. London doesn't get enough rain, and they're taking the shortfall out of the Thames. Yeah it rains heavily in England, then the ground gets waterlogged, and it can't sink down to the aquifiers. Too many houses and roads, and people paving over the gardens, and the run off goes into the sewers where it's wasted.

And maybe it's like the railways, wrong type of rain.

Is immigration good or bad ????? hmmm

May be not in Telford ?? where there seems to "yet another" massive issue with child exploitation , that has been swept under the carpet for years ;)

A**e end is only 4 pages and 6 days behind now. He is catching up slowly.
Usually he is dragging up "news" from 9 years ago.
If you are a young white girl in say Telford, you may say that immigration is definitely bad.

Is this "child exploitation" committed more by immigrants than by indigenous persons?
Not according to the police in Telford.
