Is my neighbour's garden room breaking regs

Actually, you can't trespass the eyes. If the Op can see it, he can photograph it.

IMHO it could be debatable position wise, there are rules concerning distance from the boundary and height.
It looks to be a good 3M? the guy is half a metre up on a ladder, and if he's 6 foot there's a long way to the apex.

The good news? is that the front looks to me to be intended as being left open.
therefore not a drum practice room or gym.
Hopefully just a covered shelter.
Yep, closed on 3 sides that's why workman said it doesn't need planning permission which seems questionable

It looks high, which is why I'm posting. Took elevated image to show how near to boundary
Your shed is even closer to the boundary stop being petty.
Do you want them to put their shed in the middle of the garden?

it is a rather nice design really, with that bit of pergola keeping it away from your garden

From you garden you will hardly be able to see it and you wont be overlooked either

it looks like a covered seating area -I stayed in a National trust cottage with a brick one which was open one side, it was great, we had a barbeque most evenings despite the weather not being great

I realise you had a bit of shock when you saw it going up, but honestly I dont think it will impact you in reality

Pretty sure you're not allowed to take photos of individuals on private land and post their pic online.

That's what Victor's afraid of!

It's never going to be easy when your neighbours shed is better than yours

Woke up to this eyesore being built close to my boundary.
Not pretty especially the light grey paint. You could re-house the recliner inside the house and demolish the rest with a light-weight hammer. Dispose of the glass thoughtfully.
Those across the fence are building a nice garden room if you need any guidance.(y)

That was my thought too. What's that station kiosk in the corner - Timpsons shoe repairs?

Doing well to get all that built before you got up. Don’t think it would bother me with it being at the end of the garden.

The pergola is where they will be having the bbq's.... :)

What do people think?
It looks to be in breach of the regs but would look worse (relatively) in the middle of the garden 2 metres from the boundary, so be careful what you wish for. It looks to be a well designed and constructed structure.

Blup
