“it is not acceptable for a CORGI registered installer to knowingly “sign off” gas work that has been carried out by a person who is not registered in order to circumvent the legal requirements. Where this has occurred, both the registered and unregistered installer may face prosecution”
Apart from the "may" when it comes to proscecution, it is clear as a bell.
