Only to my shoulder, which, despite the fact that it's never ever done anything to offend me, I severely strained in a stupid act of bravado when I completely unnecessarily jumped over a fence.

Now I can't do this <illustrates failure to do 'thing with arm'> :ouch: :(

I'd drape some garlic on it, but we all know where that road leads.

And how 'bout you Bel? Apart from your aching heart, how's your day been?

8) That's what comes of trying to pretend you are still a teenager....
Seriously, though, that is bad luck. A painful shoulder is the pits - I get a 'frozen shoulder' out of the blue every few years and live in agony until I can persuade the doc to give me an injection into the capsule. Now the
initial result of that is real agony but if I can get through the next few days it is worth it when the pain magically clears up.

Did nothing more exciting than watch the snooker at the weekend. Did you take the little Softi (you are very coy about how many...) out ? Weather wasn't brilliant, but then it never is on a BH.

Expect you are back under the lid by now, but take care, I'd miss you if you were gone.....

Ow ow ow ow - the word "capsule" makes it sound even more painful than I'm sure it is.

Nope - decided to catch up computer work, mostly because of shoulder. Glad I did - burden lifted. Phew!

I've bin readin' your posts on the Portugal saga - if there had been any hint of a flicker of a shadow of doubt of your integrity then it would have been dispelled by all that. You're a rare treasure Bel.

Can you feel that explosive touch of our souls as they reach out through the Ether? If Benjamin Franklin had flown a kite in the electric storm of our ionospheric passion, would he have survived that night? :D

I am no pilot; yet, wert thou as far
As that vast shore wash'd with the farthest sea,
I would adventure for such merchandise.

 Have you read my post in 'Decimalisation' yet, my darling ? Only I woldn't want to accept your protestations of love under false pretences ....

I was having a quick re-read of my posts on the Portuguese thread before doing my last reply and thought blimey, I am getting more like him every day !

Where is my Smiley goodnight kiss, you know I like them....

Hope 'ellal' doesn't read this thread - I would hate to see him having to spit out the bits of teeth he has ground to fragments as I bear him no ill-will at all but I would think you and I are on his list of 'most hated' on the forums.

I did read that post, and I thought you'd understood my deliberate Ethel Skinnerism. If not, then I've got one over on you. I don't expect it to happen again though. ;)

If ellal isn't a troll, then he won't be reading this; and if he is, then I don't care. :D

As for "getting more like him", you know it's inevitable - we can't fight it.

 Had and replied to a new post by ellal in the interim. I hope he hasn't high blood pressure, I may be guilty of driving it up......

Re the Skinnerism. Can't decide whether you are furiously back-pedalling or not, knowing what a devious little s*d you can be. But I still love you (until next time you annoy me anyway).

Off to bed now where I shall clutch you within my heart until the morning.
Kiss kiss.

Whoa there lady!

Devious I may be, cunning as a fox (etc.) even, and I'll always apologise for an error, but I'd cut my own c*ck off before backpedalling!

Off to bed now where I shall clutch you within my heart until the morning.
Kiss kiss.
Ditto Bel. I shall, um, be clutching too. ;)

:) Hi hon, had a good day ? Strangely tired, moi, so off to bed soon.
Won't say too much about others on the forum but inclined to agree with Moz that you are a 'Top Lad'. (My Top Lad ?)

Love ya :D

Hi Bel

A most excellent day all in all. Helped out a damsel in distress first off - she'd spent the night outside her flat, with her flatmates locked inside. Lock drilled out, new one from locksmiths, issued keys, everyone happy. Quick shower valve replacement following by lunch on the hoof. Then build shower tray platform and install tray ready for tiling tomorrah. Visit another damsel without off-peak water heating, and finish off at a couple who were about to face a second night without heating or hot water. Oh boy were they happy. Home then shower/shave and off to local for some jars. Now for a rest...

Moz is wise and all-seeing; a good guy, but his own worst enemy. He knows it of course.

So why are you so tired? Not been unfaithful I hope?

We are probably ruder than Mills & Boon..... I have wondered whether we should behave and just share 'A Prayer at Bed-time' but I guess the substantial number of viewers of this thread are not watching in the hope that we will fall to our knees together in prayer anytime soon.......

Well, mon petit choufleur, that wasa good day. It is very satisfying to get a lot done, make other people happy and maybe even get paid for doing it !

Hope the tiling went well.

I slept soundly last night so sadly didn't hear if you were tip-toeing through my dreams......

Don't miss Markie's post above - short and witty as usual !

Enjoy the weekend. Don't do anything I wouldn't do and certainly don't do it without me.
