Burnham wins and Starmer is expected to resign... is the headline in the news.

Soon Labour will realise it wasn't Starmer who was the problem... but not yet.
 
The PM won a huge majority from the whole country, Burnam’s been elected president by a tiny part of it. He should fight on.
 
Of course Burnham will do the right thing and call a general election immediately, to secure a mandate. :LOL:

Starmer only has a huge majority because more candidates were on the ballot papers splitting the vote many ways

With such a small percentage of the vote he knows he’s on a losing ticket

A huge majority of the lowest ever GE turnout, and those that voted for him were mostly those in receipt of public money.
