Clearly context is everything. There is previous information. Ellal clearly referred to Boris, and a simple search of news articles reveals BJ's relevant comments about that time.
Ellal's comment was in response to BJ's opinion (while he was Foreign Sec.) about civil unrest breaking out in the event of TM's deal being accepted.
    8th June

"He said the Brexit talks were heading for "meltdown" and Leave supporters may not get the deal they expected.
the prime minister refused to be drawn on whether the foreign secretary was undermining her
He added: "You've got to face the fact there may now be a meltdown.
    fear of short-term disruption.
    Asked about Donald Trump,
"Imagine Trump doing Brexit," he added.
"He'd go in bloody hard... There'd be all sorts of breakdowns, all sorts of chaos. "

Thus ellal was not suggesting civil unrest, but was complaining about the possibility of it as suggested by BJ and the possible affects to everyone.
Therefore the quoted post of ellal's was either an intentional misrepresentation of ellal's opinion, or an accidental misunderstanding of the context.

Nah. I'm not totally convinced you're "right". Maybe you could post a few more pages on that?

You can hardly blame Transam for that.

I've not been sleeping well. Before recently I've been getting up going for a drive, even going to work early.

It got so bad I went to see the doctor

He advised me to read Any posts by Dopple or Elle.

It works, I can resume my sleep for the night.
Down side is if at traffic lights no having a quick peep at their posts...

I wasn't. I was suggesting the one who posted up the quote was intentionally maligning ellal's comment, or misunderstanding the context in which he made that comment.
The same person omitted the link to the ellal's comment, so it had to be searched for. You weren't intentionally maligning ellals' comment and intentionally excluding the link to make it harder to check on the context were you?
    Look at your subsequent comment:
I have explained and demonstrated that clearly ellal was not warning of nor threatening civil unrest. He was obviously complaining that any chaos, warned of by BJ, would affect everyone.

So my original point remains. Is transam playing around the edges of inciting civil unrest?

No, but then I never research his post where he first mentioned civil unrest.

Actually you've just described any/every post you've made since 01.02.12
(or indeed any post you've made under any other different guise before or after that date ;))

So how about you waste no more time on your pasta, and put me on ignore...

It'll save you getting all frothy over your horlicks (y)

  10. How would you know, you only post in General Discussion, as far as actually offering advice in a forum that counts for anything on this board, you might as well not exist.

Don't flatter yourself either, you're already on ignore.

The irony of that post will surely be lost on a remainer.

perhaps you should have joined in. The two of you would have practically doubled the size of the demo.

You only need to rustle up another 699,995 supporters.
