Hi we moved into our house last summer and it wasn’t until winter we started having problems. We couldn’t get the radiators to work until my dad came around and fiddled with loads of stuff on the boiler and the radiators. To his credit it worked but now we can’t get the radiators to go off and he can’t remember what he did.

Obviously we’ve turned all the radiator temperature valves down to zero and they’ve stopped coming on but the one radiator with no valve continues to come on. I’m hoping I’m just missing something very very obvious and someone can open my eyes.

Thanks in advanced

Don’t apologise I have no idea with this stuff we do, we’ve turned it down to 0 and turned it up to 30, neither seem to affect the radiator

Is there 1 or 2 motorised valves?

These are usually what brings the heating and hot water on in some types of systems.

Just confirm that it clicks at about room temperature when you do that...
