the gas pipe dosnt enter the bathroom at any point, it just runs across the loft to the boiler, it is bonded at main earthing terminal at the CU.

i just thought that it was good practise the bond the bathroom light and pull switch fittings
You only need to supplementary equipotential bond extraneous conductive parts such as metal pipes, building structure which are in the bathroom. The bonding also needs to connect to circuit protective conductor of circuits supplying class 1 and class 2 items in the zones of the bathroom.
