that will be most helpful if we ever need to deal with an unhealthy bacterial infection.My local Tesco bare of hand gel and soap. No shortage of washing up liquid or shampoo though. It’s very easy to make antibacterial hand gel.
meanwhile back to the C19 virus. The best way to deal with this is to break down its oily/waxy lipid shell and render it useless, and for this task soap is the most useful way of destroying and removing any on your skin, and as you mention washing up liquid, yes, I imagine as that is designed to break down oils and fats then that may well be good too.
It really is not a good idea to indiscriminately use anti bacterial products, even on your skin
