ive worked for a local authority and everything is about cutting corners to save money. They dont care if it complies with the regulations as long as its lit.


... and everyones sure their @ss is covered, of course.


But B-A-S, it comes down to rocking the boat- and RF's place in the scheme of things may be a lot safer if he lets other people worry about their own problems.

A bit like the lead sheath photo I posted the other day- I never saw that, no not me. (you guys didn't see the mini digger they'd been using to uncover it just out of shot either...)
 
Hairy - look at bit closer at RIDDOR and you will see that dangerous occurrences are defined and this epic wouldnt make the grade. Just think how many we could report if it was covered - at least one a day.

I don't need to look at their definitions to know a good quantity of what I observed today would make the grade.

But hey, I'm sure the building firm have their "written health and safety policy statement", so whats the problem? (other than most of their workforce being unable to read it)
