Pit Bull Terrier, why?

Can any of you animal huggers think of a reason why an average family would want such an animal as a domestic family pet?

Is it a chav thing or do proper doggy lovers actually own these hideous creatures?

These dog owners should be destroyed.

I'm a big dog fan myself, but can't see the point of this sort of breed.
I know some of them are placid and friendly, but it's never spaniels or labradors that attack or kill children is it...

These dogs are quite common on some of the less desireable council estates, and are seen as a status symbol by the scumbags who keep them.

How many more people are going to be killed by these useless beasts before somehing is done about them?

Do you have pit bulls like in the article or staffy type dogs? Just wondering cos the article said that pit bulls are illegal?

I have no problem with any animal being destroyed if it has killed a child or adult come to that. I do however have have a problem with killing animals because they have the potential to kill.

If you don't want these types of dog around get your mp to get a workable law passed that will prevent them being bred.
