Pointless squabble: sockets on lighting circuits

How do you know that it shouldn't be on the circuit it is on?

And the alert I got:

Your post in the thread Unsafe wiring rodent damage was moved to Pointless squabble: sockets on lighting circuits.

I disagree that asking Winston to explain how he knows it shouldn't be where it is was a squabble.

But good to see that the Mods have finally realised it's pointless.

All we need now is for them to take the next logical step and stop Winston from making his pointless, ignorant, unhelpful posts in the first place, then they would never need to be challenged, or moved.

Because he has said it is on a lighting circuit, where it shouldn't be. And don't start telling me the regs allow it. I know, but it is only because the regulators never assumed anyone would ever be so stupid as to put a 13 amp socket on a lighting circuit.
