Re-migration of expat to UK

Having read some of the comments in the Current Affairs and Debate forum, and the two responses to my original post so far, I've reassessed my opinion of the value of the likely comments from the folk on here.
Some are obviously reasonable people, while others are extremists.
I suspect that it'll be the extremists that will provide the majority of the comments.
I'm not here for those kind of comments.

We emigrated UK over 20 years ago....

Any thoughts, advice, warnings?

Many parts of Britain have changed beyond recognition in those 20 years and the currency is almost worthless. It is still the most beautiful country though.

Don’t waste your money on flights and all that malarky. Jump on a rubber dinghy at Calais and you’ll be met just past the halfway point in the channel by the RNLI or the Border farce. There, you be given a warm welcome and taken to a check in lounge. You’ll get a free mobile phone, go straight to the front of any healthcare queues, be given some pocket money and be provided with free accommodation - accommodation much better than any British homeless person or ex servicemen could ever hope for. You’ll not need to worry about the cost of keeping warm this winter either, unlike many British pensioners. The day after arriving you’ll be able to start working for numerous food delivery companies, no questions asked. Whats not to like about that? Welcome to the UK 2026.

it's hard to describe UK as the most beautiful country. We think Germany knocks it for six.

why do you do it?

are you addicted? can you not find something else to do with your time. Every few months you sign up, try to wind people up, get banned or upset and then repeat.

What gets me is that the person will have to sign up with a different email address every time, who has 15 email addresses and why cant the admin ban it from a MAC address.
Also the person is lying from the outset as there is a German badge on display.
The person has sever mental condition and is institutionalised, disappears between 4.30 and 6 pm for dinner time then returns but never posts after 9.30 which must be when the hospital internet is turned off

I'm not. I'm still here, in Germany. We are considering returning to UK, but we have not yet decided.
