The police enquiry into child abuse in Manchester has been slated

They reckon at least 68 perpetrators of abuse have never been charged or investigated

Apparently the perpetrators would wait in cars out side care homes ect to pick the girls up and than drop em back afterwards

Wonder who these people were :sneaky:

I've been hearing about it on the radio - they even knew the perp's names. I just hope that from now on any girl/boy in the future is believed, not let down by those who really should help.

Shocking and I hope the police, social services are hanging their heads in shame and that those who closed the case, despite knowing what was going on, are prosecuted.

Again it's the PC brigade of one culture too afraid to take action against the backward perverted brigade of another.

And those poor innocent children suffered.

Nonsense. 3 million children have been abused in the last decade and were failed by the lack of safeguarding amongst many other infrastructure issues, lacking in Tory Britain.

The UK in last decade has been a horrendous place for children who have fallen off the radar.

You can't just blame it on the tories.
Child abuse and neglect has been going on for decades/centuries, regardless of who was in power, and nothing has ever really been done to tackle it in a major way.
Prosecutions are usually the 'one off single person' type because there is a bigger chance of bagging one offender. When there are 'alleged' multiple offenders the case becomes more risky to prosecute in case a number of them are acquitted. This then places a burden on the jurors/legal system as to the validity of the other 'alleged' offenders guilt so they sometimes tend to err on the side of caution.
An old friends daughter is training as a Barrister and apparently this came up as part of her Uni work a few years ago.
I would like to think that things are changing for the better when it comes to bringing these cases to light and having hard, irrefutable proof through DNA etc, but I don't think I will see a dramatic improvement in my life time

Safeguarding policy and action is a local authority responsibility.

Which party ran the LAs (and Police Authorities) in Manchester and the other towns and cities at the time when the cultural enrichment was going on?

And? You think Tory austerity does not affect L.A. It does not stop at L.A. either, especially where L.A. has no jurisdiction and where these children are preyed upon.

The three million victims are attributed to the last decade. A Tory decade.

I fail to understand why the police - generally thought to be institutionally racist - would ignore muslim gangs committing crimes if they were certain of the facts.

Maybe higher powers are to blame.

The police were told to “find other ethnicities” to investigate.
They didn't want to upset the mad mullahs and sacrificed the children on the altar of political correctness.
