Hello everyone, im after finding a couple of double adapters or triple ones, that have the old 15 amps round pin connectors. Can anyone suggest a place to buy Ive been googling but not found anything what im after.

We stock the 15 amp ones at work, as will any stage lighting supplier, PM me if you need a link. "Grelco" is the magic word if you're Googling.

5 amp ones on the other hand are near enough impossible to get hold of these days

That was quick, thanks for that, found some now i have the magi word! Do you know if its possible to get one like a 4 socket bar only with the round pins?

Not easy to get moulded 4 way types unless you import from South Africa where it's still the standard mains socket.

We can get 4, 6, 8 or even more way 15 amp socket boxes, but they're quite industrial looking black metal things and they don't come pre-wired.....

Edit to add - The South African ones, whilst physically compatible with ours, usually don't conform to British or CE standards, so use them at your own risk! I've seen a few really nasty ones.

Shim Shammy Poo street in Hong Kong has loads of these sockets with BS making on them. They are made to take both 15 and 13 or 5 and 13 with odd extended holes.

However how you would find some one in Hong Kong to get them for you is something else.

All the grelco's I have bought over the last 10 years have been black ugly things, not the nicest thing to have on display. Think I got the last ones from 10outof10

Three-way adapters with a trailing triple socket on a 1' lead are called trelcos. I can only find them for hire unfortunately - nowhere seems to be selling them.

We still have some of the triple ones with the lead in hire stock but I haven't seen any for sale in ages. I rather suspect, looking at them, they came from somewhere that doesn't really do standards. The stock dwindles each time I have to inspect and test them.

Spark123 - What an excellent choice of supplier you made when you purchased your last batch
