put another main spring in it, it makes it a b*****r to cock but you can shoot holes in passing helicopters then............even at 5000 feet.

that'll be one of the reason's why it's illegal

you only need to get the gun looked at once, after a nosey neighbour complains to the police, and you'll look like an awful criminal.

Use a 0.177 as you've intimated not a 0.22. Pointed head pellet, DO NOT alter the rifle as said a lot of trouble to be had here.

Practise so that you're a good shot. Adjust the scopes if necessary, then a good head shot to a magpie will kill it instantly, don't aim for the body, they're hard birds.
