As an added bonus to the "shop an illegal immigrant" thread, surely we should "shop" an illegal anything and everything

Well there are those dodgy DVD sellers.
The "Cut and shut" cars.

Bankers (oops not allowed to be shopped).

Chinese toys that kill or maim children.

Does a ferry ( French owned) without staiblerisers count, not that I get sea sick or refuse the free food offered. But lightweights vomiting all over the place even makes the French smell nice!

Is it illegal not to show live premiership games on terrestial TV for free?

As I have no interest in this particular subject apart from my countries team. I really do not care as I do not either recieve any benefit nor disadvantage :D

the problem there is people make assumptions
without an admission off guilt how do you know who is an illegal immigrant a child molester bank robber excceding the speed limit avoiding taxes working cash in hand working for pin money on the dole avoiding paying council tax or tv licence not paying maintainance burning red diesel buying illegal fags or duty free
letting your kids eats food in the supermarket and throwing the wrappers away before the checkout
where do we draw the line ???

the simple fact is we don't know who is breaking the law by looking at them
but we all do it to some extent or other me included

No as it happens. Many ex-pats, use a 3rd party to register a Sky viewing card in the UK, which is then used exclusively abroad...so reverse law..THEY can get away with it, but not the other way round....until a recent court said otherwise. So knock yourself out, buy a foreign decoder, watch free Prem matches for free.

Years ago, before Sky and BSB merged, I had a Filmnet decoder..that received German films, but rebroadcast in English, and mainly porn. But just at the moment, the sync would go, (literally!), and you would have to tune a pot at the back of the box, to resync the picture.

I'd quote a Frankie Howerd quote there, but there are too many, oh missus.

If you have a neighbour, that parks across your drive, or winds you up, or their car looks dodgy....

You can go to a website called ASKMID.com - and that tells you the registered owner, if the vehicle is insured currently, and if it's legit.

However it does ask for personal information only. To check yourself. But the Police use it, so that breaks that rule.

You don't enter any personal information, just a reg number of any car you saw...ideal for stalkers that saw a hottie in a car, and wants her name. Nice.

So if you wanna dob in your neighbour for no tax. Ideal.

More nonsense x2 posts from you Alumni. You realise that Alumni is a fiction created by Dan Brown, in his badly written books, and not real?

Check it out bad boy....

Check your facts. Go and have a lie down.

I suggest if you are capabable of having passed a driving test, you put your own details in there? just to be sure? Because you are incapable of comprehending anything else? So when you post with your nonsensence? Try to back it up, yeah? Fool.

Well the free check is only for your own vehicle.

As for the paid option:
"If the registration is found on the MID, you will receive on screen the insurance details: policy number, name of insurer and the claims contact details to help you progress a claim.”

Where does it say that they will give the driver's details?

As for your comment about the police using the MID and breaking the rules. I'm sure they'll have some backend access to more information than you can get on that website.
