it seems it was for drink driving + assault

either way it mustve been a serious assault -I cant find any detail from a casual google

Granted, he may be "claiming" PTSD rather than suffering from it

If he has indefinite leave to remain, the Army should have explained the process to gain British Citizenship. They are known to be very poor at that, leaving quite a few ex service personnel in limbo
