I think many of us can be guilty of posting in haste and not fully considering how others will read and then interprete what we write..verbally all the tongue in cheek comments etc may be obvious, and slogger may be better at communicating his points verbally, the problem is that the written language can be a mine field if we are not careful.
I know that I do get a bit hot under the collar sometimes, and I shouldn't, but sometimes if you've had a bad day and certain people attack you for trying to be reasonable in your responce to others, and they insult you, it is human nature to respond...
As many here have summised, I speak my mind, I defend myself and my position, perhaps too emotionally on occasion, but I will never tolerate a mindless rant from someone whose brain left this world decades ago.
Kendor and I have fallen out, Freddie and I have fallen out, and others have, but on the whole I don't think we think that much differently, we just see things from angles that perhaps the other does not readily see, and this can and has been a source of disagreement, however this is usually resolved when each party coherently explains their point and normally the middle ground is taken, usually these discussions do not iterate into personal attacks.
