Does that 15 Amp fuse even comply to BS1362 :!: :?:

After all BS is short for British Standard, and not sure why we would have a 15 amp plug top fuse when we don't have BS1363 plug's rated to 15 amps.

The concept of "rated current" has little relevance to counterfeit fuses. Some have been found with no sand inside, some with the element not soldered to the end caps, and many with the wrong thickness of element.
 
I was simply answering the question about the standard. Not making any sort of statement.

Looks like a bit of fuse wire sticking out of the end cap as if it is pushed together
