Some of there older made up commercial panels dont appear to be too badly made and companies like Arcadia and carphone warehouse used them a lot.
Probely get slaughtered for saying it but,
some of the proteus breakers come in handy for the really old wylex boards where cost of replacing an entire board [ie 36 way] is not viable, though do not condone use on smaller boards

That is nice, the Schneider Isobar boards are nice, and they do some great options, but £££££

Of the total cost to the customer of a major piece of work which requires a new CU, what percentage is the cost of the actual CU itself?

It depends on the extent of the works I guess, some of Schneider's stuff isn't too bad, and then other stuff is just crazy priced.

But then, you get what you pay for.
