I've posted similar pictures before. This bathroom has an especially low ceiling and a light fitting unsuited to the location...

it's not the light fitting that I'd be worried about, it's the shower isolator actually IN the shower cubicle...

the light may be sealed in ways you can't see.. there may be a gasket involved ( I too doubt that it is... but you never know.. it may be a fancy IP rated bulkhead.. )
 
That lamp glass will be a right git to clean when its got manky after several weeks of showers :D
 
Lets face it Securespark, we often think 'thats sh1t' but we are all getting used to the 'oh right, better put that right then' moments.

That one is great, B&B? Student Let? Private Let? or just some really bad DIYer :lol:

As for the shower, it was fitted by a builder, I think :roll:
