You don't aspire to a minimum wage, it's not an aspirational target, no more than stopping on Red is, its the legal requirement.

You can pay above the minimum wage but you said that market forces would allow companies to do that, then they could also pay below a theoretical minimum wage. Do you even think before you write some RWR crap.

14 Premier football clubs are paying below the living wage. I was happy to see Chelsea are one of 4 who pays better. I'm sorry to say doesn't mean pay well.

In an industry that pays its Footballers far far above the national average. The coaching staff would be on a very respectable wage. From Dorean the tea lady to Frank Lampard there will be a multitude of nationalitys being paid very badly to extremely well. Explain were I have been racist. I'm not saying that conditions are bad at these clubs. But other industry's will have poor working conditions.. (is that the going rate)

You see the difference between you and me is I don't care what nationality these people are I just care that they are treated well and with dignity by an industry that can afford to treble their wages without it making an inch of difference to their books.

The RW media these RWR lap up has done a great job to weaponise the term (mostr RWR haven't a clue how markets or the economy works) but as long as something that may benefit them gets labelled as socialism they will automatically be against it.

Case in point RWR saying the ACA has helped them with health costs but they hate the socialised Obamacare (Obamacare is what the Republicans called the ACA to get RWR to vote against it).
