Errm Wikipedia tried to take pics with phone but no good, it was having a go at windows too
I'm tempted to get one of those brackets that attaches your phone to a telescope (a meade cassegrain) and see if I can get some decent snaps of stuff like the crescent moon, and the like.
But I'm a bit tight, so might try to fabricate one instead
We often get a pair of Pied Wagtails scurrying around the back garden.
I love the way they always seem to be in a rush like the rabbit in Alice in Wonderland.
We call them Peter & Paul though god knows if they are male or female and whichever one lands first is called Peter! LOL

Back at work today, sitting in the van having a brew and I saw a Grey Wagtail going from car to car attacking its reflection in wing mirrors

may be not the most beautiful, but for me tonight it was, Have been watching a group of Crossbills on our walk in the woods since the beginning of Lockdown but normally they stay right up in the tops and can just be made out with the binocs. But tonight this young onecame close enough for a decent snap
That secateur shaped beak is not for cutting, it is used to part the scales on a pine cone so as it can get to the seed with its tongue. A very specialised bird, and a very difficult one to see let alone photo.

Our local B & Q store had a Robin that built a nest inside up in the eaves of the roof on a beam
They went in and out the store as and when customers activated the automatic doors

Never the less... That is a beautiful bird. I think our native birds are under appreciated
