Time for a new party? No more Tories or Labour?

remember that we have a Prime Minister who was 100% pro-Remain right up to the day after the referendum, and is now 100% pro leave, even though she can't say what Brexit means or what terms the government wants or the country needs.

I'm sure she will be perfectly happy to change her belief again if the next referendum brings a different result, as, presumably will the rest of the MPs. She would probably be quite happy to be a Labour Prime Minister if the next election voted in a Labour government. However she might not get the opportunity.

But that's just it, none of them are pretending. Hammonds dragging his feet and Anna Soubry maintains we should stay in the EU. Even Labour (initially that is) agreed that they would vote for Brexit, yet some of them do vot against the legislation. None of the dissenters like what they are doing, but know they have to do it. They are IN the government, but they are not the govenment itself. Just as the police are supposed to uphold the laws of the country, and are not THE LAW themselves.

they pretend just enough to keep drawing their pay.

Outside of Parliament, there's not much demand for clownish buffoons and professional seat-warmers.

Of course Jeremy Corbyn has always been honest about his views on Europe, never changing his opinion :)
