Times are a changing at the BBC

You can always rely on the right-wing Murdoch press, especially the intensely Conservative Sun, to give a fair and balanced view.

Oooops...

No you can't.

The Sun and co have a very peculiar idea of what left wing means - basically, if you don't think Boris Johnson is the saviour of the British People, then you're probably a communist. It's the new political way, learned from Trump. Attack everybody that disagrees with you, call out all opposition party members as evil, racist, stupid, and working with the devil/IRA/Russia etc. Even the press (not RW though) are declared corrupt, fake.

I wish people would stop falling for the BS. If you read tabloids you'll never know what is going on in this country. All tabloids just make stories up, that's why they hire more creative writers than journalists.

Read what the new boss says, not the Sun.

Well the new boss thinks they are biased.

Do you mean the new boss that is a Tory.......

Timothy Douglas Davie CBE (born 25 April 1967) is the current and seventeenth ... Davie stood as a councillor for the Conservative Party in Hammersmith

The BBC suffers right wing bias, its had Farrage on their loads of times, also brexit shills like the odious Darren Grimes and Kate Andrews, neither of which they announce as being funded by a brexit misinformation lobby group that campaigns for NHS privatisation.

Laura Kuenssberg was always soft when questioning the govt and esp Johnson.

I'm sure the BBC would never fake a picture of a Labour Leader to look like a Russian leader outside the Kremlin

Oooops, my mistake.

Yes they did.

Some feathers being ruffled here.

The new boss wants total impartiality, which we should all applaud.

They are, but not in the 'old' sense of left wing (socialist) and right wing (capitalist).

They are definitely biased toward the new meaning of left; all the woke nonsense of having to include any minority view that they can think of to the detriment of the majority and traditional values.
That's interesting, that you see any minority views as a detriment to the majority and traditional values.
It's also interesting that you assume that the majority values align with traditional values.
Could you not have considered that the majority values are not traditional values.
What are traditional values, racism, sexism, misogyny, class, corporal punishment, homophobia?

I don't think you're really pedantic, I think you're stuck in the past.

Is Laura Kuenssberg so pro-Tory that she was used in Conservative ads?

Well, yes.
https://www.eveningexpress.co.uk/ne...rvative-adverts-featuring-edited-bbc-footage/

And did she call him "an insurgent?"
Well, yes
https://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/1...ssberg-documentary-jeremy-corbyn-election-spt

Dis she circulate a false smear, without evidence?
Well, yes.
"The election saw the left-winger suffer the worst post-war defeat for Labour, but Corbynistas have been accusing Ms Kuenssberg of pro-Tory bias. This is partly due to an incident last week when she erroneously claimed Health Secretary Matt Hancock’s political aide had been assaulted as Labour activists protested outside a hospital. She reported the claim on Twitter, adding that is was based on testimony from an unnamed “senior Tory” source."

All right then, I believe it, there is bias at the BBC. But trazor is wrong.

Do you not know what 'and' means?

What are traditional values, racism, sexism, misogyny, class, corporal punishment, homophobia?
Whatever I say, you will accuse me of being against that particular thing.

To take one of your groups, it is not being homophobic[sic] to wonder if it is just a coincidence that a recent episode of QI I watched contained 80% gay people.

I don't think you're really pedantic, I think you're stuck in the past.
I don't think you're really pedantic, I think you're just wrong most of the time.
