TRV's wrong way round!

I've just found out that some of the TRV's are on the return side of the radiators and some are on the flow side!

Is this a problem?
 
Made the same mistake a few weeks ago but they seem to be working fine - don't know if it effects efficieny however. :oops:
 
I thought that it may unbalance the rads when the TRV's do there opening and closing.
 
depends on the make and model of your trv's.....some only work on the flow, some on the return and most new ones on either.
