Ukraine Hits Russian based Fuel Depot

The planes are in heavily fortiedied bunkers that can be taken out with a large warhead but they are all in the west of the country and protected by air defense sytems. Russians cant be bothered as they are hardly being flown now

ground-based radar finds it very difficult to log low flying aircraft, fact.

They will have stuff to account for that also aircraft that can scan large areas. All larger countries have them. Stingers are for the proletariat.

it can happen to any country just like the example I gave re the urakiane drone with a bomb landing in Croatia after several hours of flight - NATO had their early warning planes up,

Its often BS when sountries say their weapons/radr can do this. that and the other often overstated ability.

Hamas rockets do not fly very high and little warning. A helicopter is a much easier target. Things like that sort of defence are not far off automatic.

Russian has made threats that it will "walk out of talks" because of the fuel tanks attack inside Russia. They are just looking for excuses and the attack was a good idea as it starves the front line of fuel for while at least.

Press reports over a week ago said they are seeing a ceasfire in early May, IE when the Russian won the "Nzis" i order to conincide with those celebrations.

When?
When their Kyiv convoy got stuck in place. They weren't pinned down by fire for a month, they got stopped and their logistics weren't able to get them moving again.

Russian helicopters are flown at low level, just like this one

they can also be flown, low, above a main road, and smart radar may think it is just a truck, especially if there is other traffic on the road.

Yep, flying low has been a common practice for aircraft since WW2, to prevent radar detection especially from ground based sets, avoiding visible spotting, using terrain as a masking tool, avoiding lock on for AA missiles that can't operate too low and probably a million other reasons.

They showed a video of the strike in Russia on AlJ adding they can't verify it. Missile and helicopters. The comment they are said to have made about effects on talks were so convolute ;) I can't remember exact words other than it seems to suggest that it will have a detrimental effect on talks. Which leaves ????????????
