Have you had a few bevvies?
Can't quite see how you make the leap from shiotty imported milk to all that stuff. :)

My point was that we should not lower our standards and accept inferior quality milk.

I understand that , but some one mentioned slavery (not u ) as for Milk,

simples Do not buy the milk in the shops if its from the US

The co-op ran an ethical trade scheme/ caper , and were basically paying UK farmers less for a pint of milk then it cost to produce ?

Nestle one of the most boycotted companies around (or were) were flogging milk powder to 3rd world countries so as to feed babies. which ended up encouraging mothers not to breast feed.

They caused the deaths of numerous infants (allegedly)

No, you don't understand what I am saying. We should not lower our standards and we should not allow it into the country so that people can have a choice whether or not to buy it.

If you don't want it, don't buy it. If every one feels the same it won't get imported. What is needed is tighter controls on the language used to describe origin and content. If its fairly labeled consumers can choose.

A timely reminder: https://www.theguardian.com/lifeand...k-companies-target-poor-mothers-breastfeeding

That's where a load of our over production of 'milk products' ends up, so we are no better than those who will attempt to impose their sh1t products on us - especially post brexit!
