No, then he would have killed her.

So not the same.

If a person pays for a contract killing, the person that paid isnt the killer, the hitman is the killer.

However the person that pays can be guilty of conspiracy to murder.

But he fired a gun at a person or persons unknown, knowing that he could kill them, that is murder, the fact he "didn't know" who it was makes no difference, if you fire a gun at someone intentionally & they die, it's murder.

And that's the conclusion they (finally) came to. But even the courts found it a tricky one to sort out and took some time to get there.
 
I heard on the news that this guy can appeal against his conviction while on the run :confused:

Surely he will get time added on for doing a runner?
